What is Fantasy Cricket?
Fantasy cricket is a skill-based online game where you create a virtual team of real cricket players. Your team earns points based on the actual performance of these players in real-life matches. The better your players perform on the field, the more points your fantasy team scores.
On Khiladi Anari, fantasy cricket is completely free to play. There are no entry fees, no cash prizes, and no financial transactions involved. It is all about testing your cricket knowledge, competing with friends, and having fun.
Step 1: Select a Match
Browse through the list of upcoming cricket matches in the app. You can choose from various formats including T20, ODI, and Test matches. Once you find a match you are interested in, tap on it to start creating your fantasy team.
Make sure to check the match timing and create your team before the match starts. Once the match begins, team creation is locked.
Step 2: Create Your Team
You need to select 11 players from the two competing teams to form your fantasy team. Your team must include:
- 1-4 Wicketkeepers (WK): Players who keep wickets and can also bat.
- 3-6 Batsmen (BAT): Players who specialize in batting.
- 1-4 All-rounders (AR): Players who can both bat and bowl.
- 3-6 Bowlers (BOWL): Players who specialize in bowling.
Each player has a credit value assigned based on their recent performance and popularity. You have a total of 100 credits to build your team, so choose wisely. You can select a maximum of 7 players from a single team.
Step 3: Choose Your Captain and Vice-Captain
After selecting your 11 players, you must choose a Captain and a Vice-Captain:
- Captain: Earns 2x points for their performance.
- Vice-Captain: Earns 1.5x points for their performance.
Choosing the right captain and vice-captain is crucial to maximizing your team's score. Consider players who are in good form and likely to have a significant impact on the match.
Step 4: Join a Contest
Once your team is ready, you can join various contests:
- Mega Contests: Large public contests with thousands of participants. Compete against the entire Khiladi Anari community.
- Practice Contests: Perfect for beginners to learn the game without any pressure.
- Private Leagues: Create or join private leagues with your friends and family. Set up custom contests and compete in a closed group.
All contests on Khiladi Anari are completely free. There are no entry fees or charges.
Step 5: Track Your Team's Performance
Once the match starts, you can track your team's performance in real-time. The app updates scores as the match progresses, showing you how many points each of your players has earned.
You can also check the leaderboard to see where you stand in the contest. The leaderboard is updated live, so you can watch your rank change as the match unfolds.
